The remains of Salvador Allende to be Exhumed

The remains of former Chilean president Salvador Allende will be exhumed in order to know the cause of his death. He died during a coup on September 11th, 1973 but it has been a subject of controversy whether he was killed or committed suicide. At the time the presidential palace was under an air raid and it is said that Allende took his own life instead of being taken hostage. But reports say that there were two gunshot wounds to his head from different guns.

Chile was a dictatorship between the years of 1973 and 1990.
